Meet Luke and Leia: A tale of two felines friendship that knew no borders. They are looking for their forever home in the Netherlands.

Fate brought these two brave little souls from distant countries in the Middle East together in a cozy foster home, where their true stories began to unfold.

The first was Luke, who was rescued in Bahrain. He is a gentle prince with shining eyes that once could not see. He was found wandering with a painful eye infection, he couldn’t see the world, and his tiny tail hurt and broken. Through many days of care and healing at the vet’s clinic, Luke’s eyes were healed, brightened and his handsome face blossomed with charm. Now, he is just over two years old, Luke is a proud and noble kitty, proud of his journey and his new life.

The second was Leia, who was rescued in Saudi. She is a spirited young princess, abandoned in a box on the busy street alongside her sister. She was tiny, weak, and covered in fungal patches, her body starved and trembling. But with love and gentle care, Leia grew stronger and more beautiful each day. Now she is a year and a half old, a lovely and lively feline, full of spirit and grace.

One fateful day, Luke and Leia met within their foster home. Luke was shy and preferred quiet corners where he could sit peacefully, while Leia was outgoing and loved to chat and explore. From the very first moment, Leia’s heart was set on making friends with Luke. She was friendly to all, but her fondness for Luke was special. In just a few days, they bonded as if they had known each other forever, their spirits perfectly matched in energy and joy.

Leia’s cheerful antics would often lift Luke’s spirits. When he was feeling down, she would jump and dance around him, softly meowing like a tiny squirrel, inviting him to join her in play. Together, they would chase, run, and leap across their home, their sound filling the air with happiness.

They are the perfect companions for busy humans, keeping each other company when their family is away.

Most of all, Luke and Leia love humans dearly. They enjoy being petted and cuddled, sharing their love with everyone who welcomes them. These two brave little souls found each other, proving that even in the darkest times, hope and friendship can blossom into the most wonderful adventures.

They are fully indoor cats or an access into a catproof balcony.

Fully vaccinated for Tricat and Rabies, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, tick & flea treated, tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.

ADOPTION FEE: EU 550 for both to cover some parts of their relocation costs to the Netherlands and pending vet bills.
