Meet “Matilda”

GENDER: Female

AGE: 1.7 years old

HEALTH: Fully vaccinated for Tricat and Rabies, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, tick & flea treated, FIV/FeLV negative.

RESCUE STORY: Matilda was rescued after she started meowing and following after her rescuer. She refused to leave her side, continually rubbing against her rescuer’s feet. She even leaped up, eager to be held. With such a sweet and friendly personality, her rescuer couldn’t bear to leave her, so she picked Matilda up and took her to the vet.

BRIEF PERSONALITY: She’s incredibly affectionate and gets really excited when her rescuer comes to visit her at the vet. She eagerly anticipates being petted and will purr loudly as soon as you give her some attention. Now that she understands she’s safe, she has calmed down and quietly waits for someone to pet her or scoop her up. Unlike her days on the street, she doesn’t meow loudly anymore. She’s also unbothered by other cats, making her a good candidate for introductions to other feline friends. She enjoys being held in your arms and loves to sit in your lap.

IDEAL HOME: Indoor cat only or an access to a fully catproof balcony and fully secured/fenced garden.  Not tested with dogs.

ADOPTION FEE: EU 280 to cover some parts of her relocation costs to the Netherlands and pending vet bills.
