Meet Millie, she is looking for a forever home in the Netherlands.

Millie is 8-month-old kitten who was born to a feral mother on the streets. Millie is a confident and sociable kitty who enjoys the company of humans. She welcomes visitors with open paws and, while she may be a bit cautious initially, she will eventually approach you as soon as she feel safe.

Millie is also great with children aged 8 and up, provided that interactions are supervised, as she has a playful energy typical of kittens. She tends to get jealous for human attention, therefore she is best to be as an alone pet in the house.

This delightful kitty is affectionate and loves to play with strings and feather toys. Even when she gets tired, her enthusiasm for play remains strong, making her a joy to watch as she chases her toys. She has a talent for chirping, she shows off her adorable “ek ek ek” sounds, especially when she spots feather toys—her favorite prey. Millie is also an expert bug and fly hunter, chasing them until she’s successful. She enjoys watching birds from the window, so having a cat tree nearby for her to observe from would be ideal.

Millie is a little vocal and communicates with you through various meows to gain your attention. She adores cuddling and will purr contentedly when snuggled up against you, often curling up on your belly or in your lap. She loves to knead (or “make biscuits”) around you and enjoys being petted. If you carry her, she will lounge in your arms like a little baby.

This clever kitty picks up on commands easily, responding to cues such as “no,” “stop,” “stay,” “jump,” and “come.” She’s also fascinated by phones and will attempt to scroll through them, as she enjoys watching games on the screen.

Millie has a hearty appetite and loves wet food and treats. She happily eats plain boiled pumpkin and enjoys air-fried carrots, zucchini, chicken, salmon, and shrimp aside from her regular dry and wet cat food. She prefers to drink her water from a fountain and occasionally sneaks sips from running faucets.

She is a fully indoor cat only or can have access into a fully catproofed balcony. She is fully vaccinated for both tricat and rabies, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.

She is currently in Bahrain and ready to travel to the Netherlands as soon as home is found for her.

Adoption fee is EU280 to cover some parts of her relocation costs to the Netherlands.
