Simba & Peaches, 9 years old
Meet Simba (male tabby) and Peaches (female calico). They are looking for a home together in the Netherlands.
These two adorable kitties were rescued at a very young age atop the roof of their rescuer’s home. They were very skinny and looking fragile.
They are now 9 years old and they have been living with their rescuer since that time, hoping for adoption. Unfortunately, as the years have passed, they still haven’t found a permanent home.
Regardless of their age, they are joyful and playful together. They cherish each other’s presence and frequently cuddle together. They always nap in one bed together. They enjoy human interaction, especially when playing with them. Both are affectionate and love being petted, though they’re not keen on sitting in laps. Instead, they prefer to be by your side for a gentle stroke, especially Peaches. While Simba may sit on your lap for a short time, he will quickly jump off afterward.
They are exceptionally sociable, welcoming both adults and children with head bumps. They are not scared from visitors, instead they are happy to see and play with new people.
Due to the presence of other rescue cats in the house, these two are confined to a single room, which deeply saddens their rescuer, as they deserve a home of their own. They should have the opportunity to spend their remaining years in this world being able to run and play around the whole house and receive undivided human attention and love.
While their lifespans are uncertain, they are in excellent health, do not require a special diet, but would benefit from high-quality food to support their wellbeing. Both enjoy looking out by the window, observing and playfully chirping at the birds from their cat tree.
They are indoor cats only but would love a home with a secure balcony or catio to safely indulge their curiosity.
Simba and Peaches are fully vaccinated for both tricat and rabies, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.
Their adoption fee together is €480 which will goes to cover some parts of their relocation costs. The adoption fee will only be collected upon their arrival to your home.
