MEET BABS —Your One-and-Only Calico Queen

After being abandoned by her previous owner, Babs found refuge behind a veterinary clinic, where she lived for over a year under the quiet care of the kind staff. When she was injured and began getting bullied by other cats in the area, they knew she deserved better, and brought her indoors for good.

Now safe, healthy, and fully embracing the indoor life, Babs is thriving. She’s affectionate, dignified, and a little food-obsessed (she’ll definitely remind you when it’s mealtime!). In between meals, she enjoys head rubs, cozy lounging spots, and quietly keeping you company.

Babs is FIV positive, which simply means her immune system is a bit more sensitive than most cats. But don’t worry: FIV is not a life-threatening condition, and it can’t be passed to humans or dogs. With a low-stress indoor lifestyle, regular checkups, and good nutrition, cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives, just like Babs is doing now.

She’s best suited as an only pet, as she doesn’t enjoy the company of other animals. Babs would also do best in a calm home with older children or adults, as she prefers a peaceful, predictable environment.

If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who will make every meal feel like an event, then Babs might just be your perfect match.

Her adoption fee is €275 which goes towards covering a small part of her vet & relocation costs from Bahrain. Babs is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated, tested positive for FIV and negative for FeLV & mycoplasma.
