Bruno, 5 years old
Meet Bruno, a calm and loving big boy is looking a forever home in the Netherlands.
Bruno is a gentle 5-year-old kitty who was rescued after he wandered into his rescuer’s garden in a severely malnourished state, looking frail and underweight. After spending a couple of months at the vet, he has fully recovered and gained back his strength.
Now flourishing in his foster home, Bruno shares his space with other rescue animals. He has become incredibly affectionate with his human companions but can get a bit jealous when the other cats receive attention, sometimes even bullying them. For this reason, he would do best in a home without other pets, where he can have his human all to himself. He loves to jump onto laps for some cuddles, and he’ll happily stay there until he drifts off to sleep. While he enjoys being petted, it’s important to know his limits, as he may give love bites when he becomes overstimulated.
Bruno is quiet and calm, but he will definitely let you know when he’s ready for food—simply by looking at you and meowing. He has a healthy appetite, but since he shares his space with other cats, he tends to eat quickly out of fear that they will steal his food. Therefore, it’s essential to monitor his portion sizes to prevent him from becoming overweight. Bruno is not a picky eater; he enjoys both wet and dry food.
Though Bruno is 5 years old, he still possesses the playful energy of a kitten. He loves to engage with his toys and enjoys running on a cat wheel for some much-needed exercise. When he’s not playing, you’ll often find him perched atop his cat tree, gazing out the window and watching the world go by.
Bruno is an indoor cat only or an access to a fully enclosed garden or balcony for safe outdoor access or he can be trained to walk on leash. Otherwise he is perfectly fine indoor as he has been living indoor only since he was rescued.
Bruno is fully vaccinated for both rabies and tricat, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.
He is currently in Bahrain and can travel to the Netherlands as soon as forever home is found for him.
