Eleanora, lovingly known as Baby Elly (and sometimes Baby Checkers when she’s cheeky!), is searching for her forever home in Belgium or The Netherlands.

Her journey hasn’t been easy. Once a pampered house cat in Bahrain, she was abandoned when her family moved away, left to struggle on the streets. Thankfully, a kind rescuer stepped in, and with a vet’s help, she was nursed back to health and flown to Belgium for her second chance at life.

Now 3.5 years old, Elly is thriving with her foster mum—purring, cuddling, and showing off her gold-medal hugs and snuggles in the Cat Olympics. She loves curling up on the bed, chasing her toy croissant and balls, and being showered with affection. She’s a true little healer cat. 

Elly is looking for a calm home where she can be the only princess. She doesn’t like other cats, hasn’t been tested with dogs, but is good with gentle children. She must be kept indoors, unless she has safe access to a fully enclosed garden, balcony, or catio.

Quirky note: she sometimes plays with her litter, so a high-walled litter box is best. She may be shy at first, but with patience her sweet, affectionate personality blossoms beautifully.
