Meet Fernando – he is looking for his forever home in the Netherlands.

a former stray who made a heartfelt decision to leave the streets behind when he hopped into his rescuer’s car. He refused to leave, even when his rescuer tried to put him back on the ground. Instead, he won her over with his sweet nature—kissing her, rubbing against her, and purring like a motor engine. His charming personality convinced her to take him home.

Fernando has been given a clean bill of health by the veterinarian who examined him. He’s estimated to be around 2 years old, but he appears small and kitten-like in size, with playful energy to match that of a little kitten.

He is affectionate and loves attention. He adapts easily to indoor living. He may have previously lived indoors and was abandoned outdoors.

Fernando quickly gets along with other cats in his foster home, often playing with them or chasing toys on his own. When he’s tired out, he’ll rest beside you on the couch or hop into your lap for a quick power nap.

Fernando is gentle and allows you to pick him up for a few minutes before he jumps down to resume playing. He’s a quiet cat who is simply happy to be safe indoors, enjoying regular meals instead of his previous outdoor life. He’s not picky with food and enjoys both dry and wet options, but you should watch his portions as he tends to eat quickly and finish his plate in an instant.

Now fully indoor, Fernando loves watching the world outside from the window. He can be as an only pet or into a home with another calm cat as long as proper introduction is followed.

He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.

His adoption fee is €280 which goes towards covering a small portion of his vet & relocation costs from Bahrain. His fee is only due upon his arrival to your home.
