Jaya is a beautiful 10-month-old girl who is ready to find a loving family of her own.

Her story began when she was just a tiny kitten, crying desperately from inside a bush. Frightened and unsure of the world around her, she was hesitant to come out, but she trusted her rescuer enough to be picked up and taken to safety.

She was severely underweight and completely covered in fleas. With proper care, good nutrition, and lots of love, Jaya made a remarkable recovery and grew into a healthy, happy young cat.

Today, Jaya is thriving in her foster home. She is full of energy, playful, and always ready to start a game with the other rescue cats she lives with. Confident and spirited, Jaya likes to be in charge and isn’t shy about letting the other cats know it! Her enthusiastic play style can sometimes be a little overwhelming for calmer or older cats, although she is never aggressive. She simply has a big personality and a playful nature.

Because of her strong character and love of being the center of attention, Jaya would likely be happiest as the only cat in the home, where she can enjoy all the space and attention to herself.

When playtime is over, Jaya has a much softer side. She loves finding a cozy spot to nap and can often be found stretched out in a quiet corner or even right in the middle of the house, completely unbothered by people walking around her. She knows how to relax just as well as she knows how to play.

Jaya enjoys spending time with her people and will happily sit beside you while you watch TV. She loves gentle pets and companionship, although she prefers sitting near you rather than curling up on your lap. She is an independent girl who values her personal space while still enjoying human company. One of her favorite pastimes is watching birds through the window and keeping an eye on the world outside.

For her age, Jaya is quite a striking cat with a larger appearance and a strong, athletic build. She is fit, healthy, and full of life.
