Mocha is a beautiful 1.5-year-old girl who has learned to navigate the world in her own remarkable way. She is completely blind, but that has never stopped her from loving, playing, exploring, and forming deep bonds with the people she trusts. From the moment you meet her, it becomes clear that her spirit shines so brightly that you quickly forget about her lack of sight.

Mocha warms up to new people surprisingly fast. She enjoys being petted and will gently lean into your hand, eager for affection and connection. Her favorite thing in the world is interactive play; anything with a string instantly brings out her playful, spirited side. She loves to chase the sound and movement, and she engages with you fully, relying on her sharp senses to guide her.

During her first few days in a new home, Mocha will take things slowly as she learns the layout of her environment. Once she maps it out, she becomes confident and independent, moving around with ease and resilience. She adapts beautifully when given time, stability, and a predictable space to call her own.

Mocha does not have behavioral issues, but it’s important for adopters to note that when she becomes overstimulated, she may give a gentle, light warning bite; never in aggression, simply her way of saying she needs a moment. It’s rare and only happened once or twice with her foster parents, but sharing this helps ensure she finds a home that understands her communication style.
