Meet Orpheus – our sweet ginger boy who just wants to be loved

Orpheus was first discovered in his rescuer’s building, desperately seeking shade from the sizzling Bahrain heat during the summer peak. His little paws were burnt from the scorching ground, and he was limping, skinny, starving, and dehydrated. Despite the pain he was in, he showed nothing but trust and a longing for kindness. His rescuer scooped him up and rushed him straight to the vet, where it was discovered that he had an old leg injury – one that doesn’t affect his mobility today.

Now safe and cared for, Orpheus has flourished into a playful, affectionate boy who adores the company of both humans and cats. He shares a wonderful bond with his foster dad, often calling out if he can’t find him, and loves nothing more than cuddles, kisses, and companionship. This gentle guy is also a little chatterbox – he’s vocal and will happily chat away to his foster dad sharing his thoughts, making every day more joyful for those around him.

Orpheus has a playful streak too – from zoomies to games with his kitty friends, he brings fun and energy to his foster home. With his affectionate nature and big personality, Orpheus will make a truly special addition to a loving forever family.

Orpheus may be shy at first specially when he is still not comfortable with you. But as soon as he knows he is safe, he would come to you and give you headbumps.

Orpheus is living with multiple cats and gets along well with them. As long as proper introduction is followed, he can go to home with other calm cats. Otherwise, he is happy as an alone pet in your house.

He is a big boy, but he is only 11 months old. Fully vaccinated for both tricat and rabies, microchipped, neutered, tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.

The adoption fee of €280 helps cover part of his vet care and relocation costs from Bahrain.
