Zorro, 4 years old (FIV+)
Meet Zorro — a gentle soul who has always chosen people over the streets.
Zorro was found in his rescuer’s feeding area alongside his brother. At that time, only his brother was rescued, and Zorro continued to live outdoors. He didn’t wander far and remained in the same area, waiting for humans every day to bring food. The moment his rescuer arrived, Zorro would run toward her. He would eat a little, but what he really wanted was affection. Pets always came first.
One day, Zorro was found weak and unwell and was rushed to the vet. Testing revealed he is FIV positive, which meant outdoor life was no longer safe for him. FIV simply means a weakened immune system. It is cat-specific, cannot be transmitted to humans, and is only passed between cats through deep bite wounds. With good nutrition, regular vet care, and a safe indoor life, FIV-positive cats like Zorro live long, happy, perfectly normal lives.
Zorro is calm, peaceful, and quietly affectionate. He shares his space beautifully with other cats, never picking fights or asserting dominance. Instead, he prefers curling up in a cozy corner, observing the world with soft, trusting eyes. With humans, he is immediately loving — strangers included. He walks right up for head rubs, and if you place him on your lap, he will stay there indefinitely, purring gently until he drifts off to sleep.
Confident and emotionally secure, Zorro adapts quickly to new environments and forms trust with ease. He can be playful in short bursts but much prefers cuddling and companionship. When you’re home, he wants to be near you. When you’re out, he’s perfectly content to nap the day away.
Zorro is an independent, easygoing indoor cat who enjoys quiet moments watching the world from a window or relaxing on his cat tree. A fully cat-proofed balcony would be a dream for him — a safe place to lounge and soak in the sights.
Zorro is 4 years old, fully vaccinated for tricat and rabies, microchipped, neutered, tested negative for FeLV and mycoplasma, and FIV positive.
His adoption fee is €275 which goes towards covering a small portion of his vet & relocation costs from Bahrain. His fee is only due upon his arrival to your home.
